The Huemanity Collective is a global face painting event happening March 20, 2027. Sign up, receive your assigned color, paint your own face, and submit a photo. Your face joins a mosaic of participants from every corner of the world.

This collaborative artwork raises funds for charities supporting inclusive communities; celebrating neurodiversity, LGBTQAI+, social justice, and the full spectrum of humanity.

How It Works
What do I actually do?

Paint your own face at home using your assigned color family, then submit a photo on or before March 20, 2027. That’s the whole thing.

Participants are also encouraged to fundraise for a charity they care about by inviting friends and family to sponsor their participation or contribute to their campaign.

Do I need any experience?

None. Beginner-friendly face painting is part of the charm — the mosaic looks better when it’s real people, not perfect technique.

What’s my color?

Randomly assigned after signup. Reds, Oranges, Yellows, Greens, Blues, Purples, Pinks, or Silver & Gold.

Where does my fee go?

Your registration fee covers your paint kit, helps keep the event running, and a portion is donated to our global charity partner. The fundraising is separate — every dollar you raise from friends and family goes 100% to the charity you choose.

What is Gallery Day?

On March 20, 2027, the full mosaic reveals for the first time — every face, every color, all at once. Teams are encouraged to gather in person, host watch parties, and use the moment to rally their networks for one final fundraising push. It’s the payoff for everyone who painted, and the image belongs to all of you.

To create a powerful, unified collective mural, we ask each participating artist to follow these guidelines.

Colour Assignment

  • โ†’Paint using only your assigned colour.
  • โ†’You may use any light or dark shades of your assigned colour.
  • โ†’You may also incorporate black and white.
  • โ†’Keep the design primarily your assigned colour so the final mural has strong collective visual impact.

  • โ†’Your entire face must be painted.
  • โ†’If your neck is visible in the photo, your neck must also be painted.
  • โ†’No bare skin should be visible in the photographed area.
